From its first recorded use in China in 3000BC to the present day, massage has been used across cultures throughout history to relieve stress, prevent illness and improve wellbeing, assisting the body in its natural propensity for self-healing.

Massage can encourage the body's systems to function more efficiently by helping to improve circulation and the removal of toxins, relieve muscle fatigue, loosen stiff joints, lower blood pressure, and much more. The power of touch can also bring more subtle benefits at the emotional and psychological levels.
